Account information: your Google account email address, display name, and sign-in token data used to authenticate your account.
Voice input: audio you record in the app for speech transcription and translation.
Text input: text you type or paste for translation.
Image input: images you choose or capture for on-device OCR and translation.
Device and app information: app version, device model, language/locale, and technical request metadata needed to operate the service and troubleshoot issues.
Subscription and access information: trial status, plan status, purchase verification data, and entitlement records.

2. How We Use Information

To sign you in and manage your account.
To transcribe and translate voice, text, and image-based content.
To route requests to the nearest available translation service region.
To manage trial access, subscriptions, and app entitlement.
To maintain service reliability, security, abuse prevention, and support.

3. How Voice, Text, and Image Data Is Processed

Voice mode: audio recorded in the app is sent to our backend and speech-processing services so it can be transcribed and translated.
Text mode: text you enter is sent to our backend translation service.
Image mode: OCR is performed on-device first; extracted text may then be sent to our backend translation service.

We do not use your submitted content for advertising. We process it to provide the translation features you request.

4. Third-Party Services

Voice Translator may rely on third-party services to operate core features, including:

Google Sign-In for account authentication.
Google Play services and Google Play Billing for app distribution, purchases, and subscription handling.
ML Kit for on-device OCR.
Self-hosted speech-to-text and translation services operated for Voice Translator.

5. Data Storage and Retention

We may store account records, entitlement records, usage events, and limited technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Content submitted for translation may be processed temporarily in order to complete your request.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed to operate the app, comply with the law, protect the service, or work with service providers that support authentication, hosting, billing, speech processing, and translation.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

Voice Translator is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your Choices

You can stop using the app at any time.
You can sign out from within the app.
You can request account deletion using the instructions on the account deletion page provided with the app’s store listing.
